My scalp is shit. One minute it’s fine and the next minute it’s open, sore, scaley, dry, crusty and just not in a good way. When I part my hair and look at any irritated patches in the mirror they look so small! Why do they feel so big and way worse when you can’t see them?! The smallest ones always hurt the most! After one of my many evening skincare google holes I came across this Yes To Carrots Dry Scalp Shampoo…
What really got my attention was the paraben free and 95% natural ingredients bit. Let’s face it, anyone with a skin condition knows the products that work the best and the quickest are the ones packed with chemicals. As much as I love that they guarantee relief for irritation, the thought of all the shit I’m putting on my skin makes me feel uneasy. This shampoo also had amazing reviews on the Boots website, which always sways it for me.
I like this shampoo but I don’t think it’s the best anti-dandruff product I’ve ever used. Maybe I need to be more patient with it and use it over a long period of time but my first impression of it is that it’s gentle on the scalp. It lathers up nicely, which can be quite difficult to find in a dandruff shampoo and it made my hair feel really soft. My scalp didn’t feel tight at all after drying my hair and the tingling feeling it promises on the label feels really nice! It smells quite medicinal, which I think it pretty normally for a dandruff product and the bottles bloody masssiivvveee, this is going to last me ages! I have noticed a few flakes and some itchiness the next day after I’ve washed my hair, which is a little disappointing because I had such high hopes. I’m going to keep trying this shampoo out though, I won’t give up just yet!
I got my bottle from Boots for £3.99 in an offer. BLOODY BARGAIN.
