My September favourites…

Ok, so I know I’m over a week late but I thought I would still share my September favourites anyway because who doesn’t love a good monthly favourites?!

The weather in September seemed to go from summer to autumn over night and woah my skin felt it! My scalp went mental, my skin went mental, I nearly went mental from the itching! I decided to strip all my skincare back with no fuss and concentrate on soothing my skin over anything else, so lets get into it…

  • Eucerin – Dermo Capillaire.

You know what is the most embarrassing part of having sensitive skin/ eczema? DANDRUFF. I don’t mind the odd patch of red skin here and there but constantly having to brush flakes off your shoulders is just plain shit. Since the weather changed my scalp, the hairline especially, has been really dry and flakey so after a quick google search I came across this leave on treatment for dry, itchy scalps. Why have I not used this sooner? It’s a lot more gentle than prescribed scalp treatments. The nozzle makes it really easy to apply to any dry areas throughout the hair and a little goes a long way! I’ve been massaging in some of this after I have washed and dried my hair before bed, in the morning there are no flakes or sore spots. It totally took the itchiness away too! I picked my scalp treatment up from Boots UK for £12.

  • Jun-i – Hair Oil.

This oil is amazing for super dry, itchy, sore scalps that need soothing. I have been massaging this onto my scalp 2-3 times a week, really concentrating on the most irritated bits and it has worked wonders! To make it even better it’s made up of only 3 ingredients! Jojoba oil, tea tree essential oil and lavender essential oil, dreeaammyyy. This oil takes the itch away as soon as I apply it and the lavender makes me have such a good nights sleep, which we all know is amazing for healing skin. Even the packaging is dreamy! I would definitely recommend this to anyone having scalp issues. I got my bottle in my September Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box but you can get one for £10 from

  • Egyptian Magic.

Sensitive skin or not, you need this cream. This has seriously changed my face from dry, red and puffy to glowy, skin coloured and not shit! I LOVE it! I won’t go into too much detail about this one because I did a whole post about it in September but it is actually magic! It instantly hydrates and brightens tired skin. It keeps skin protected all day and my makeup goes on so much better! I don’t think I’ll ever stop using this product it’s that good! I got my tub from for around £25, I know that’s pricey but they regularly have offers on so keep an eye on their Instagram page!

I know I don’t have as many favourite as usual this month but it’s been a very dry, frustrating skin month and I didn’t want to over complicate anything. Sometimes it’s better just to keep skincare simple!

What products have you been loving this month?
