The Mario Badescu skin care range has been all over the internet recently with YouTubers and bloggers going mad for it! I’ve had a good look at the range and what really stood out to me was the aloe, cucumber and green tea facial spray…how refreshing does that sound! I looked everywhere for it but noticed that it was really over priced on Amazon and always sold out on Beauty Bay. I was going to wait til it was back in stock but then I saw it by chance on sale in Urban Outfitters so I picked up a bottle for £7.
This spray promises to invigorate dull, tired skin and deliver a cooling boost of hydration. Mario’s words, not mine. It is also cruelty free and paraben free, perfect!
My first impression is that you get quite a lot for your money compared to other sprays on that market. The smell is quite strong but it’s refreshing and not too over powering. What I like about it most is that it sprays quite a big area at once, I only use about 2 or 3 pumps for my whole face and neck so I think it’ll last quite a long time. I’ve been mostly using it as a make up setting spray and it works really well! My make up doesn’t go all cakey and weird, which is a daily struggle for me because foundation and concealer just love finding any tiny bits of eczema and making it look 10 times worse, whhyyy concealer?! Whyyyyy?! Help a gal out! The spray is also quite fine so it doesn’t ruin or disturb make up and I’ve noticed that my usual dry patches stay moisturised for longer, yaas! I’m not sure if I would use it if my skin felt irritated because of the fragrance but that is just me, my skin reacts quite bad to frangrances when it’s being all crazy and annoying. Other than that I’m really liking it so far, it’s a winner!
Have you tired any of the Mario Badescu skin care line?
